The ground rules.
The terms for using this website — short, fair, and written like we actually want you to read them.
1. Using this site
Welcome to madmarketinglabs.com, run by Mad Marketing Labs (“we,” “us,” “the Lab”). By browsing this site or sending us a form, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, the polite move is to not use the site.
Use the site like a good citizen of the internet: don’t try to break it, probe it, scrape it at scale, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. That covers 99% of what lawyers usually need three pages to say.
2. Our content is ours
Everything on this site — the copy, design, graphics, logo, code, and the general Mad-scientist energy — belongs to Mad Marketing Labs or our licensors. You’re welcome to read it, share links to it, and quote small parts with credit.
What you can’t do is copy, republish, or resell it as your own — including lifting our copy for your agency’s website. (Yes, that happens. Yes, we check.)
Anything you submit through our forms remains yours; you just give us permission to use it to respond to you and run your audit — which is why you sent it.
3. Accuracy & results
We work hard to keep this site accurate and current, but it’s provided “as is” — marketing changes weekly, and a page can lag behind reality. Content here is general information, not professional advice for your specific situation.
Case-study numbers on this site are real results from real engagements. They’re also exactly that — their results. Every business, market, and budget is different, so nothing here is a promise of the outcome you’ll get. (Anyone who guarantees you #1 rankings is lying to you; see our SEO page — we say it there too.)
4. Third-party links
Some links here lead to other websites — platforms, tools, resources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, policies, or availability. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement of everything they do.
5. Liability, in plain terms
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mad Marketing Labs isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website — things like lost profits or lost data from relying on free content here.
Client engagements are different: those are governed by a signed agreement with their own (mutual, negotiated) terms. These website terms don’t replace or modify any contract we have with you.
6. The general stuff
- Changes. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
- Severability. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still stand.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Privacy. How we handle your information lives in our Privacy Policy — also written in plain English.
